How can I use validation on a MultiSelect when using PHP wrappers to render the control? I know with HTML you can use the attribute "required" on the "select" tag but how is this done using PHP wrappers?

Hi,

just purchased Kendo UI with PHP wrappers today and having a blast sofar experimenting with all the features.

One of the things I am trying to do is create soft-of a tag entry field. This should be a combination of the multiselect, autocomplete and regular input field.

Using the ComboBox widget, I can type and submit custom text (text not in the list), but I can only add a single value. I would like to be able to add multiple values, and for each value have autocomplete enabled, allowing me to select items from the list and add items not in the list.

Is this possible with the current Kendo UI version? If so, can you point me to some example files or give me some pointers?

Example of a jquery plugin that does exactly what I am looking for: http://xoxco.com/projects/code/tagsinput/ (with autocomplete)

I look forward to the reply!

Regards,
