Our app uses vue 2.6.12 in our package.json
I tried to update the kendo vue version to the latest one reported by npm - but it fails with a dependency of vue 3.
Can you tell me what is the latest npm version of the kendo-vue wrappers that does not require vue 3?

Are you using the Kendo UI for Vue Wrapper components or the Kendo UI for Vue Native ones? The dependency that you are talking about is a peer dependency and it was changed to Vue 3 with the latest updates.
If you are using the Wrapper components you can try with version 2020.2.912. If you are using the Native components, here is the release history you can follow. With version 1.0.9 you should not have the issues with the Vue 3 dependency.
Let me know if the suggested above doesn't resolve the issue with the installation of the Kendo UI for Vue components.
