Hello everyone,

I am using Mobiscroll in one of my projects and its called in a KendoUI Modal Window, the problem is that when I scroll the values in the mobiscroll the Modal Window closes.

Any idea what's happening?

Thanks everyone!

Hello Relvis,

I am afraid that the provided information is not sufficient enough in order to determine what exactly is going wrong. I am not expert in mobiscroll, but I downloaded the framework and prepared a very simple example. It seems to work fine on my side (tested on iPhone 4S).

Could you please check the attached files and let me know what I am missing? Can you reproduce the issue in my example and send me back the updated version? In this way I would be able to examine your current implementation and assist you further.

Thank you in advance for the cooperation.

Hello Alexander, here I attached an example what happen in my case (mobiscroll1.zip).

Then, I worked on the z-index of the mobiscroll elements to show up to every kendoui modalwindow, and it shows in top of the modal view, but when I use the scroller the modalview hides. This is in the mobiscroll2.zip example. In this second example I am using mobiscroll-2.4.

I hope we can figure it out whats happening.

Thanks for your support.

Hello Relvis,

Thank you for the sample projects.

You are using a mobiscroll widget in modal mode which creates a conflict with the modal View of the application. I forwarded the case to the team for further investigation, but I am afraid that I cannot suggest a solution for this case at present.

As a workaround you may consider using inline mobiscroll picker. Alternatively you may try to close Kendo Modal View right before mobiscroll picker opens and re-opening it when the picker closes.

Please accept my apology for the inconvenience caused.

Kind regards,
