Hi,

I tried to use Required DataAnnotation on Start and End properties of my viewmodel to validate DateRangePicker.

But seems like it is not working by default.

Any suggestion on validating DateRangePicker control?

Hello support.

When the calendars are visible and the first selection (start date) is made a "day-month-year" label/placeholder is displayed in the end date input field (see screenshot).

Is this text customizable? Or can it be set to not display?

Best regards

Morten

When we call Kendorangepicker, it enables 2 input fields - start and end dates. Is it possible to open kendorangepicker from single input field and once the ranges are selected, dates should return to the input field like 01-01-2019 - 20-09-2019.

Thanks,

Hi, i'm include localization files to my project:

<script src="js/kendo.culture.ru-RU.min.js"></script>
<script src="js/kendo.messages.ru-RU.min.js"></script>

It's works fine, but DataRangePicker label still English ("Start", "End"), how i can localize it?

Description

After a date range is selected, if you select a new date range using the previously selected start date as the start date for the new range, the control will close before you select an end date for the new range. At that point, the start date will be filled in but the end date will appear to be empty. If you click on the control again and select a date, the end date will now be filled in.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Initialize a new date range picker control.
  2. Select a date range.
  3. Open the date range picker control to select a new range.
  4. Select the same start date you had previously selected as your new start date.
It is at this point that the control will have closed.
  5. Open the control by clicking on one of the two date inputs.
If you hover over a date, you will notice that the highlighting of that range occurs as expected.
  6. Select an end date.

On another note, it's also worth mentioning that the Forum hyperlink on the documentation page for this control links to the Date/Time Pickers forum section rather than this one.
