Good day, the last week or so I have been reviewing the Telerik MVC Extensions and it got me quite excited.
Clean code, easy to implement and use and overall just great!
I do have one concern: graceful degradation in regard to javascript support.
I do believe that only one extension/control out of the current available release (2011 Q1) is in dire need of just that:
The Menu extension/control.
Input is understandable considering that RIA input requires validation and filtering - although having common controls such as the Grid and Editor support graceful degradation is definitely a bonus, if not required - thumbs up on that!
In my experience javascript required navigation doesn't do the job, input validation should always be done server-side in case javascript is disabled.
A man can correct input if it's invalid, but can't navigate if the navigation is broken.
So here's the feature request: Graceful Degradation for Menu Extension via CSS
Thank you
Regards,
Schalk.
PS. Virtual scrolling would also be a very appealing feature for the list based controls (Grid, DropDownList etc) ;)
