After installing the latest MVC package (Q2.2012.2.607) I started getting strange errors when trying to create a new project in VS2010 Ultimate.

This happens on MVC 4 version and with C# language.
I also tried to do the "clean" install - wiped out all Telerik installations, wiped out %applocal% Telerik folder, wiped out Common7\IDE\Extemnsion\Telerik folder, made a fresh install of just the latest version. Nothing changed.
Creating MVC3 projects run fine.

Any clues are appreciated.
Thank you!

Hello Juan,

I am sorry for the trouble you have experienced.

I think the reason behind the issue is wrong deployment of the Telerik Extensions for ASP.NET MVC. I suggest reinstalling just the extensions following the steps below:

1.Run Visual Studio and launch the Extension Manager from the Tools menu;
2.Locate the 'Telerik MVC VSExtensions' package, uninstall it and restart Visual Studio;
3.Launch again the Extension Manager and switch to the Online Gallery tab;
4.Search for 'Telerik MVC VSExtensions', install the latest version found and restart Visual Studio;

Note that currently out project templates do not support ASP.NET MVC 4 RC (ASP.NET MVC 4 beta is supported).

Please let me know if it helps.

Check out the successor of Telerik MVC Extensions - Kendo UI for ASP.NET MVC - and deem it for new ASP.NET MVC development.
