Are there any plans to support branching in the stepper in the future? We're using the control to track progress on a set of long-running tasks, but we've run into a scenario where two tasks can be run in parallel with each other.

Currently, we do not have plans to provide a branching feature in the Stepper. Nevertheless, if you think that such a feature would add value to the widget, I would suggest you log your idea as a feature request on our Feedback portal.
